KSC’s PR director, Shahram Boqrat said Monday that they brought about 130,000 tons of steel in the first half of the year to record such a remarkable increase. The factory produced in excess of 25,000 tons of steel rolls during the period, showing 28% growth.
Meanwhile, KSC produced more than 28,000 tons of slabs as well as 53,500 tons of other products, Boqrat uttered, saying this has been the highest record of slab production since the factory started work. “Totally, we have provided domestic markets with 268,000 tons of our products, which is 45% higher in comparison with last year’s figures of the same time.”
However, Boqrat said that the final phase of the complex is yet to be operated. “Therefore, we have to buy www in order to provide raw materials for the factory.”
